Greetings, Just a small question, spoilers ahead!

I'm nearing the end of The Witcher 2, and it has just been revealed that Triss(and a few others) is a member of the Lodge of Sorceresses, Geralt is surprised by it, now correct me if I'm not mistaken but wasn't that revealed during The Witcher 1? I knew about it before hand at least(or maybe I just assumed..).

If I remember correctly, you learn it while Geralt is asleep/dizzy in Triss' room, so Geralt doesn't know but you do.
