No resonance gems-Reaver Lord

I am doing the quest to get the resonance gems inside of Kagrumez. The Reaver Lord that is supposed to be inside isn't there. I have 3 gems, the only remaining in the game are the 2 that the Reaver Lord carries... if he does not spawn does that mean I am just out of luck? Anyone know a fix? I'm finding the same issue with a lot of players, but so far no solution...
I just realized that you can do the platter glitch to walk through the gate to get the bow of fate...
Hold a platter in front of you, face the gate, and then Whirlwind Sprint towards the gate... using this glitch, I now have the Dwarven Black Bow of Fate using only 3 resonance gems... (Still would rather have gotten the gems from the Reaver Lord and grabbed it without extremes...)
