Rangerbug?

Post by Thehalfelf »

The ranger gets just three spells (from the druid spells) at each of the three first spell-levels. Why does a Ranger/Cleric get cleric and druidspells up to seventh level? Is this a bug?

One more thing: When I created my Ranger he had 2 profeciencypoints placed in "two weapon style" in addition to the six i could place where I wanted. Is that a bug too?

neither are bugs, especially the two weapon style proficiencies.
the ranger cleric, is cheesey, but i don't think it's really a bug.
I would be a serial killer if i didn't have such a strong distaste for manual labor

hmh ...

The reason that Ranger/Cleric gets all druidic spells could be that Ranger's get access to all animal, plant etc. spheres normally reserved for druids. It's just that cleric side of them allows casting of higher level spells compared to being limited to only 1-3rd level spells when being a ranger.

a bug however is that a multiclass ranger/cleric can only place two stars in dual wield.

Kevins Patch? Where can I find it. Is the patch accepted by bioware or Black isle (etc)? Will this patch let my existing Cleric/Ranger put three points in dual Wield?

You can get the Fixpack at Baldurdash. This is not official, so there is no support from Bioware, but we've all come to respect Kevin's work. I'm sure everybody around here will recommend you his Fixpack.

Yes, it will.

There's also a recent topic here at Gamebanshee's where he announces his latest version of the Fixpack.
