Hello everybody,
This BotB sounds very interesting, people you know of gamebanshee.
I'm interested in joining, but what do I have to do to be allowed except creating an character and be a member of Gamebanshee?
And what will BotB be doing when the game is availabla? (for excample: goinig on quests, training together ect.?)
Thanx,
Rob-hin

If I understand correctly you are meakeing a new land for NwN, will new members be able to give their thoughts and ideas about it?</STRONG>
I have plans when the game comes out to give it a shot - but I have no concrete plans.
As for the other members, well I can't speak for them.
As for benefits of being a member - well actually there are none

Thanx Joe and Garcia!
But I still need some help with my character.
First of, if I duell class, in what Wing do I end up? I'm thinking about fighter/sorcerer or just one of them(not sure by far).
But I sure could use some help with this desicion.
I like a fighter but I do like to think when I have to fight, not just step up to a enemy and hack hack hack...(I liked my wizard slayer in BG2 thought, but then I also controled other people like wizards ect.)
I also like magic, but I don't want to be to weak to fight with weappons (is an sorcerer way to bad to fight head to head with simple monsters?).
I don't want to fight in name of a god.
And I don't feel like keeping balance with nature.
I'm not interested in a Bard either.
I know this isn't easy but:
PLEASE HELP AN TROUBLED YOUNG MAN!!

Be a thief mage.
IN BG there were quite alot of theif/mage assasins that went after the pc, and they rocked, didn't they.
anyway welcome to BotB.
if you want a snack, drop by my kitchen. I'm making hot kobolds in a bun today.
AT the moment we'll play in Argyle, but after we have progressed wwe could make a world of our own. It would be pretty cool. We could have different people make their own cities, regions etc.
The only problem would be that we would need a dungeon master. I'm sure we could find some on the net though.

@Rob-hin:
Things you need to considere before making your choice.
Argyle is "magic-poor" and actually the citizen of this realm dosen't like magic users much, so they will be hard to RP because people will be out to get you.
Also there is no dual-class, there is multiclass. YOu start out as level 1 in one class - then you can later add levels or classes up to a total of 3 classes. And the cap in NwN is level 20, wich is lvl. 20 combined of all classes so a lvl. 5/7 rogue/wizard is actually a level. 12 character. Therefore remember if you as a sorcerer needs to cast highlevel spells, you should advance much in your first class
(Also remember a sorcerer uses charisma for spell-level, not intelligence, so how smart a sorcerer is can be debated
)
Check out the character generator demo if in doubt on how to make a character, I can only recommend it, but don't pay notice to spells and skills etc, just the pure character creation of stats and levels.

I'm not sure Clerics really have to fight in the name of a specific god. D&D has given life to the concept of "godless" Clerics that simply worship the whole of "generic" divine energies (not unlike Aerie in BG2). This is in D&D3, but I'm not sure it'll be in Argyle (which reminds me to ask around there...).

Better wait with that untill they get their "God-list" worked out, gonna be cool to see what gods they have madeOriginally posted by Xyx:

Even if it's pretty obious, I didn't know about that: "And the cap in NwN is level 20, wich is lvl. 20 combined of all classes so a lvl. 5/7 rogue/wizard is actually a level. 12 character"
This means for me that multiclass is no option, because I believe that then your character isn't strong enough.
That leaves a fighter, sorcerer, or a wizard.
Ah well, I'll keep working with the Character Generator demo then.
Thanx everybody!
