Eliminating dual/multiclasses

Post by fallen-ajantis »

Is it possible to get rid of one of the dual/classes? Eg, turn Imoen into a pure mage, or Aerie into a pure cleric. Its very annoying when all the pure-class chars are evil and youve got a good party :(

You can edit character stats and such with Shadowkeeper (recent thread has a link to download this program).

But what have you got against dual-classes? The 40,000 exp Imoen has in thief class doesn't slow her down in levelling up as a mage. Don't confuse dual-class with multi-class. Multis split exp between their two classes, while duals have stopped adavancing in one class in order to pursue another.

As for clerics...you might find Viconia will fit in with your good party. She's evil, but not so evil as, say, Korgan. As long as your rep stays below 20 you can keep her.

Also, IIRC Anomen is a cleric, right? If you want righteousness and virtue he'd be a good addition.

Dual class is ridiculously powerful in this game. The game gets really boring if you get to the point nothing can hurt you.

Fallen one, thanx for the welcome. And Aegnor, I've got nothin against dual/multiclasses, it's just the only pure thief in the game is Yoshimo, and you know what happens to him... :)

In all seriousness Jan never disappointed me as a thief. I did get kind of sick of 'don't forget to raise me' in TOB, but that's nothing a little change in playing style didn't fix. I've always thought that the lack of an uber NPC theif meant that it was a job for the protagonist. So that would make you Warlord Theif King  - Curdis
The warlord sig of 's' - word

Making a reappearance for those who have a sig even longer
