It's simple: Choose your favourite companion. I've allowed multiple responses so if you really liked more than one character, you can choose all of them as well.
I would be interested in reading why the character is your fav. Feel free to share the line, the cutscene, the banter, anything that that particular character did that impressed you.
Thanks in advance.

It's been too since I played to remember specific reasons, but I remember that Isabella and Varric were the most fun, and so that's who I voted for. If your poll had been for the least favorite, then I would have voted for Anders by a wide margin.

Sir Edmund: "Should you obey the lord who asks you to put a village of innocents to the torch? Is that chivalrous? Is it noble?"
Me: "It's a great way to get promoted, I know that much."

I only got halfway into act two, but I was really intrigued with Aveline. I thought they did a very good job making her a very deep character that ran against a lot of female stereotypes in games. She managed to be very imposing and aggressive while at the same time, at the right moments, showing a lot of depth and vulnerability. Always was a character I was trying to figure out better, and I like that.
I remember being pretty put off by Fenris, but that might have been more his appearance (especially his sword.) DAII's art direction was pretty awful to begin with, but to bizarrely shove in JRPG-type aesthetics for a single character didn't do it any favors.
I think I've said this on these forums before, but I really feel that, though DAII had a lot of flaws, its characters weren't one of them. If Bioware had shown the same care and attention to writing their story, planning out their gameplay, and actually generating a modicum of original content, DAII could have been a fantastic game. As it was, it ended up a miserable game with very, very good characters, which really seemed to make the whole thing sadder, at least to me.

I agree with you (both of you).
@swcarter: Anders is indeed very annoying with his chantry/templar hated lines. SPOILERS As much as I don't approve blowing the chantry, I think is one hell of dramatic turn of events. SPOLIERS
@Garriath: considering I bought it at 9,99€ (on a sale) I think that for me this helped the appreciation in general of the game... I'd like to know what you'd think when you'll finish the game.
