Interplay/Infogrames

Post by Mr Sleep »

Just read that NwN will now be produced by Inforgrames and not Interplay. There is a link here here to the story.

What effects will this have on NwN it is hard to say, Infogrames track record is not quite what we would want, but they did produce Outcast, so perhaps there is hope.

Opinions?

Well as long as they retain their numbers and are allowed to work on NWN in peace. That's all that really matters.

Work isn't the issue: just publication. The game's finished. At this point, the only variable is whether they'll release it in February or March. :D :)

February or March?! At their current rate of progress I have the game pegged for a July release! :( :p I just pray that Warcraft III comes out significantly before or after NWN so I'll have time to play one or the other without being torn between the two (but with my luck...)
Nature’s first green is gold,
Her hardest hue to hold.
Her early leaf’s a flower;
But only so an hour.
Then leaf subsides to leaf.
So Eden sank to grief,
So dawn goes down to day.
Nothing gold can stay.

Yeah, it's been finished for a little while. After BG1 (which was notorious for its lateness), Bioware has been very good at managing its resources and projects with accuracy.
