With an eye to HoU I have set up my Dwarf F/DD with all possible D-Waraxe feats ... the only issue seems to be finding a D-Waraxe in the original campaign.
Does anyone know where I can find one, or if there are any at all??
Dwarven Waraxe in NWN
I think I remember having this problem, and am about 75% sure there arn't any. A way to test it is to have weapon focus in that weapon, then there's always a loot chest near to a "boss" (you know what I mean from act 1) and your weapon of focus will be in that chest.
I'm also pretty sure because I think I remember being annoyed that you couldn't craft them either, as breaking doors and stuff didn't yield the crafting materials.

SPOILER
There is a smith in the underdark who can smith any weapon with +1 through 10 and it costs gold. So at least when you get to the underdark you can just buy a normal DWA and then enchant it up. Save gold.
Here are some merchants you might have missed: 2 outside the starting inn. One might have a DWA. The healer right near the portal to the dungeon. I think she is Thayla or something. And SPOILER............

----- The djinn bottle by the halaster dungeon second level. He has items to buy.

Right Speech has four aspects: 1. Not lying, but speaking the truth, 2. Avoiding rude and coarse words, but using gentle speech beneficial to the listener, 3. Not slandering, but promoting friendliness and unity, 4. Avoiding frivolous speech, but saying only what is appropriate and beneficial.
HoU and SoU are not my probelsm ... I know I can get them just about anywhere there. The issue is I don't want to waste NWN feats on Focus and Proficiency for other weapons ... my Defender just doesn't like them!!Claudius wrote:SPOILER

If there was somewhere in NWN that I could find one, even with just a +1 I'd be a happy boy. No boss chests have revealed any yet despite the focus, so I guess I'm out of luck :-(
Unfortunately, there aren't any in the cmapaign. They didn't change anything in the original campaign, so any content that got introduced with the expansion packs is not to be found or is mentioned anywhere.
This means there are no dwarven waraxes, whips or tridents available in the original campaign or SoU.
But you know what you can do? Use the console to create one. What I'd do if I were playing is to use the console and add the wepaons myself.
If you don't want to cheat by simply adding items at no cost, you could have you character buy e.g. an battleaxe to spend the gold. Afterwards create a dwarven waraxe via console and dump the battleaxe somewhere.
As for what weapon bonus is appropriate at what point in the campaign, you can just look at the availale items there. So, if you find a longsword +2, leave it be (or drop it) and give yourself a dwarven waraxe +2 instead.
You can find item lists easily on the web, such as this one or this one.
