Most Powerful Vanquished

Post by bogotter »

This isn't very important really but seems a little weird...

My PC killed the unseeing guy and that became his biggest kill....but then he killed that Liche in the City Gates, who is worth 22000 xp, i'm sure this is more than the unseeing eye but on my information page the unseeing eye is still recorded as my biggest kill....any reason for this???

My PC did definately kill the Liche...he was the only party member in that room!

The Unseeing Eye is not a simple beholder . It's a quest monster and is powerful than a simple lich . Propably you killed the Unseeing Eye without following the quest . The whole quest itself worths aproximately 100000 experience points , maybe more ...

Wait for the demi-lich , i am sure it will be a satisfactory experience .

When anything is killed by a summon, you don't get the kill. I can't think of any other reason, except maybe another partymember got the kill and you didn't realize it or something.

If another party member got the kill, it would likely show up as a highest kill on their profile. You might want to check that.

i definately got both kills, because my party hid while I used the shield of balduran and hacked the unseeing eye and I was the only party member in the Liche room....so who is worth more experience, i could have sworn the unseeing eye was 15000, maybe I was wrong...

@Morlock

The lichs name is Shangalar, I forgot the other ones but I think the beholder is a hive mother (altough I'm not shure about that).

Shangalar: level 26 Lich
Revanek: level 19 Fighter
Shyressa: level 13 Vampire
Layene: level 18 Mage
Vaxall: regular Beholder

What is, in my humble opinion, most annoying here is that Vaxall will dispel all of your precious magical protections without you being able to do much about it at all. If it weren't for this, the battle would be so much easier.

Anyone else noticed that the best kill in BG2 (SoA and ToB) is Bodhi.. You get 91000 xp. Well sure, she's tough. NOT! I find this kinda amusing. Well.. it isn't a big thing but it just bothers me :)

in TDD you get to kill some ghost down in purkall i think it was (IIRC, a scarlet sending). this thing is worth 55000 points, however, it is in my opinion nothing more than an oversized shadow fiend. :D easy and fast exp tho. lol

According to Infinity Explorer, Demogorgon is worth 36,000 XP.
There's nothing a little poison couldn't cure...

What happened here was the gradual habituation of the people, ... to receiving decisions deliberated in secret; to believing that the situation was so complicated that the government had to act on information which the people could not understand, or so dangerous that, even if he people could understand it, it could not be released because of national security.

Are you kidding? That's got to be the biggest injustice I've ever seen. DG should be 100k or more as a single kill. You do get 80k quest points though. Maybe the designers didnt think about putting in a single kill stat.

Anyway, here's my big kills:
ME: cavalier--Bodhi
Valygar--Firkraag
Anomen--adamantite golem
aerie-shadow dragon
Jan--Shade Lord
Mazzy--can't remember--somebody cool though :)

I think the biggest in the game are Bodhi, Firkraag, Kangaxx, & shangalar

Well, the unseeing eye is sad. All you need is use the boots of speed and run out of screen, get some skeleton warriors to block his way and voila! XXX exp. I couldn't believe I didn't even use the rod. BTW, is that cheating?

@samcu, I fought the unseeing with just my cavalier wielding Carsomyr and wasn't even scratched. I even just stood there to see what the old boy could do. All he did was shoot about a half dozen power word stuns at me (to no effect) and then closed in to melee! He did maybe a couple hits at about 5-6 damage before I took mighty chunks out of him with Carsomyr.

I saved the rod for the lich upstairs and he saved against it! Waa-waa--waaaaa... :p
