Jesters Chain...

I have read in this forum alot about the jesters chain... and i thought i was a cool thing to give my skald... BUT... i can't cast spells with it and it's only 1 ac better then my other armor... (some elven +5)

So what's the bother??

IMO Jester's chain is a DOG. It is misnamed for one thing since it is treated as chainmail (and yes, that means bards can NOT cast spells in it).

For the same 20 tokens, you can get a boots of speed (15) and boots of the north (5) which IMO is a far better buy. You are going to be *real* upset when you find that bladesinger chain has an even *better* armor class than jester's chain and you *can* cast spells in it.

Bladesinger armor may be more practical but it aint as pretty a Jesters chain.

Can all classes wear Jesters chain or just Bards?

any class that can wear chain mail can wear the jester chain

Yeah, and the bladesinger can be upgraded by cespenar.
