Dragon Age. Skip the fade Mod

Hi, I started playing DA:O recently and after getting to mage tower i realized that i will be forced to go through that dull fade labyrinth again. My last playthrough was like 4 years ago and i still get headaches just by thinking about that blurry nonsense. I found "Skip the fade" mod on nexus but I do not know if I need to start a new game to use it or will it work in my existing game if i install now. Any clue?

Save before you try. I'd think it should work in an existing game, as long as you haven't entered the fade.
