With 8M xp (solo play) you can reach 19/20, I think.

You get the ability to summon the Spirit Animals every 5th level, so to dual at level 10 seems like a good option. I haven't checked the spell progression table, though.

I do not recommend to dual as late as level 19. IMO, that's not how dual classing is supposed to be used. You would play the first hald of the game as an ordinary Totemic Druid. Then you would play the other half of the game as a low level Fighter. Only in the end would you get the abilities of the two classes combined. In general, dualling at level 9-12 is most advantageous.

Totemic druid gets Summon Spirit Animal after 5 levels, but the 1st he gets at the 1st (+5/+6 charm protected weapon, tough, isn't it?), so next come at 6th, 11th, 16th...

I'm actually playing one of these right now, and I am (kinda) determined to dual at 15. While it's a whopping 3M experience, the 6 spells of every level is really nice. Also, it will "only" be 2M to get to level 16
as a fighter, so it won't be too brutal. Now I'm rethinking this as I'm not sure how much xp there is before heading for Brynnlaw - anyone know a rought total?

The only thing you miss by not playing multi instead are those spirit animals... are they worth 5 million xp?

Technically, the totem animals are not worth it. But then, technically, a fighter/druid is pretty much a total bust anyway. I think a ranger/cleric is almost always a more powerful character. I just kinda liked the idea of a totemic druid - and those spirit animals are kinda cool (and very powerful at the start).

You might correct the injustice of the fact you may dual from kit but not to kit - by SK :D . Latest version even offers innate abilities editing by kit (adding according to level or removing). Injustice even more because there are NPC of such kind. Well, call me cheater, but i enjoy fighter dualed to totemic druid (or multi). :o
