I am haveing troulbe pulling it of

I have charmed him
And His circle did turn blue, for a bit
Also I have dispelled him(Note: that I have only 10/11th lvl spellcasters with this spell(me and jahiera)

He's been sharmed by the Yaun-ti mage and is really good, you can charm dispell him but it doesn't work

You charm him (I generally use the ring of human influence) once he turns green you can:

1/ Wait off screen for him to become uncharmed and -sometimes- he will go blue and stay that way {I did this the first time (SoA, no patches, years ago)and it worked}.

OR

2/ Cast a dispel on him and if you pass the dispel percentage chance (better chance at higher levels) you will break both charms. When you break the enemy charm the game parser says Glacius dispelled (or some such) so you know if it worked.

The problem is there's a bug in the area script which makes converting him very tricky.

I mean its got a better save penalty...

or possibly dire charm?

or a straight high level dispell? like keldy's doing double real level???

finally got it to work....trick is to not have missile weps equipped, and I cleaned out cache /data before relaoding. ring workded jsut fine, used triple dispell in sequencer to cast dispells..that did trick!!!

i didnt...the triggered tripple dispells re rolled the dispell effects three times getting a hit on the second try and made the sucess roll.

he immediately turned blue and i was able to finally talk to him, and get flair head and heard about how he lost it...he was charmed by trolls (???) and his nerve is shattered, so hes going to go away now...wuss..

What I did (a number of times) was charm him, then immediately rest. After that, he was blue-circled.

Ah, so that's how you do it...

I killed him because I never found out a way to do it. Nalia says, "He must be charmed!" Whatever, I just put him out of his misery, for his own good...

I suppose you get more XP for doing it the non-violent way. Oh well, at least I got to loot his full plate mail.
