2handed or Sword & shield?

Hey again,

I'm now a lvl 22 cavalier and was wondering if i should go for the Holy Avenger or the Purifier and sentinal combo. Also what is the best platemail in the game. I have the one with immunity to backstab but i thought there was something better.

Holy avenger if you have the * in two-handed.

The Eckasin(sp) plate (backstab immune) gives you the best AC in the game, IIRC, but if other qualities are important there are plenty of other plates. - Curdis !

well personally i like the white dragon scale the best i have it on Minsc at the moment, 50% resistance to cold. Also the Blue dragon plate is cool too against enemies that love electrical attacks(90% resistant but it's -1 as white dragon is -2.

I think that armor u get from the Yaga Shuru guy with +20% fire res ight be good but i have no idea what it looks like. I don't want anything tht looks kinda ugly on my character(blue dragon, T'rachie's, etc). Could omone set up a link showing what t looks like in gamplay.

that blue dragon scale armor is the best "looking" armor in the game on anyone.........

two handed, for sure...

the two handed prof will give you damage and attack speed bonuses, so you can do more, and the single wep prof gives me enough defense bonus so i dont feel the need for any shields. holy avenger is best sword in game, the magic resist alone and device based dispell magic is the only chance against creeping doom...
