watcher keep level 2: pos. bug? (and pos. spoiler)

ok, i'm at watchers keep, and i'm in that ice bit where theres them wraiths and a golem. and i figure that fire should do the trick. only it doesnt.
the flail of ages (+5 of course) has about every type of damage possible, and even that doesnt seem to damage them. my dragons breath doesnt work, even when me wild mage gets area effect and casts about 5 of them at once.
any help much appreciated.

Ok, IIRC, you must open the doors that connect the air lab and the poison lab, and the poison lab and ice lab. Then turn on to the fan full power, blowing the poison gas into the Ice lab. (Although, you might be somewhere different, I'm not too sure).

Is level 2 the part with the acid/fire/cold/air sections?

It's written on the papers what you should do, just follow the instructions.
The fan is important.

ok, i get the whole thing about the notes but, how do i open the flaming doors?!?!? i can get to the fan room from the fire library, and the slime room from the slime library, and the ice room from the slime library, but that is as far as i get. i can't beat the ice room monsters, and i can't get the other doors open.

i believe that in each room there is a rod (or something) that can open another door in a lab. they are usually on enemies, but a quick tap of the tab key after killing all the room's enemies should help the search

you also need to open the southern door of the poison room,- to make the path clear for the poison-, wich needs a key found on one of the tables or so in one of the rooms
