Potion of Festule the Alchemist

Post by OrangeVoodoo »

Ok,
I've looked through all the "Equipment" lists and I have no clue as to what the Potion of Festule the Alchemist does. You can find it in the temple of Helm in Adrhilanka's Temple Area (if memory serves) in the piano looking thing on the NE wall of the SE room if you scroll past all the books. The description talks about how it would be tasty for an ogre, but would cause anyone else to vomit. I don't think it sold for anything more than 1 gp, so I figure it must be good for something special. Let me know if anyone has found a use for this item.

If you travel to the slums with Mazzy in the party, she'll end up challenging an NPC, Gorf, to a duel. Festule will show up in the Copper Coronet to sell you this potion, which you can use to weaken Gorf prior to the duel.
There's nothing a little poison couldn't cure...

What happened here was the gradual habituation of the people, ... to receiving decisions deliberated in secret; to believing that the situation was so complicated that the government had to act on information which the people could not understand, or so dangerous that, even if he people could understand it, it could not be released because of national security.
