What's new in TDD?
kits?
Races?
Great weapons(good paladin swords.. etc)?
Is there the same scheme (Hunting Irenicus)??
Thank you for answering!

There are a whole lot of new kits (I'm not a kit guy, so this doesn't excite me much). Over 100 "new for BG2" spells. Half a dozen or so NPCs, some new, some recycled from BG1.
Halflings have been replaced (in name only) by Kender. There are also elf kits for Drow classes that come with reputation disadvantages and sunlight penalties.
They also imported some weapons from other Infinity Engine games like IWD.
New quests, some character specific and some new areas (like Trollford).
You'll really have to play to see all of the changes, but it's worth the download.
TDD is built around the basic SoA plot, so you have to hunt down Irenicus, but apparently there is another plot after you kill him (I haven't gotten that far yet).

TDD stands for The Darkest Day, which is an unoffical add-on for Baldur's Gate II: Shadows on Amn.
Some of our friends over at TeamBG got their hands of the BG2 source code and made up some additional quests, items, NPCs and other stuff to add on to BG2. It installs over BG2, and being an "unofficial" product, is not supported in any way by either Bioware or Interplay.
It is not compatible (yet) with Throne of Bhaal.
