Okay i know that i buy this belt in trademeet... but i can't find the merchant anywhere, do i have to buy it before or after i do druid grove? or does it matter... and where exactly is the merchant who sells it?

Yes it matters, the merchants won't have any (interesting) merchandise until you've solved both the Druid Grove quest and the Dao Djinni Quest. :)

To get the merchants to sell you stuff you only need to do that Djinn quest. While play'n the evil bloodthirsty way i found out all ya need to do is kill them and avoid the grove completely ;) .

If you're playing evil, you can get the evil quest. Kill all the druids and poison the grove! There's a road to build, afterall! ;)

Bah. I've played evil, but paving over a woodland area...? That's just plain depraved! :D ;)

When I talk to the guy below the inn, he tells me he sold his shop to the djinnis. Did I wait too long to deal with them? What gives?

Nope, that's the wrong guy. The guy you want isn't walking around, and he's in that middle area between the fences, just south of the inn. (But only in daylight hours.)
