sun gem dissappearing?

Post by jomama13 »

Don't ask me why,
but my sun gem keeps disappearing in the temple of the shade lord, the dungeon where you find mazzy. i cannot dispel the third door (to the dragon) and the gem disappears, so i cannot pass! any suggestions?

You're not meant to open one of the sets of doors; you have to go through some of the side rooms for some extra quests, bad guys and stuff.
Jesus saves! And takes half damage!

If brute force doesn't work, you're not using enough.

:D i just went to the ol' ironwerrks site and debugmoded my way into that area.... i guess that is not fair, but hey, it took me two whole days of digging to get @#$%^&*! Bodhi's Lair door open, if it weren't for Sabre's script trick, i would STILL be there. i have a life sometimes, too, ya know....

you have to assemble the three pieces to the sun medal by putting the three pieces into the statue of the goddess in the room behind the letters-on-the-floor-riddle (one of the pieces can be obtained by answering the questions from the statue head in the upper left part of the screen about the correct ritual - clues to the correct ritual can be found in scrolls lying around). The sun medal will act like the key to the door you can't open. I know this sounds confusing, but when you're at the Temple Ruins it should make sense :)
