ID Memory

Post by Mr Snow »

Don't know if anyone else has suffered this or if it is a problem with IE (5.0).

But since the forum changes, when I want to post I have to put in my User ID and Pword, then a couple of hours or so later and I try to post again, it doesn't keep the User/password.

It doesn't seem to loose the data over a short period but over the long term it does, whereas before it never needed to be re-inputted at any time, days could go by etc.

Any Ideas?

Many regards,
Mr Snow.

GB works with cookies, so if you clean you harddisk it's possible you delete the cookies too. Then you have to login again, thus creating the cookies again. This is the first that comes to mind, hope thats it. :)

Ps. I think windows can delete the cookies automaticly but I'm not sure.
