Post by angfox »

help all my wepons have gone!!!!

ive just finished soa (well nearly) and spent 10 mins transfering all the decent stuff that i had onto my main man and then imported him to throne of bhall. But he is only left with a few wepons. His fail of ages is gone and also his cloak of protection +2 and loads of other things.

How do i get them to stay with him?

i really wanted to keep them with me!!!

thanks yet again for youre help!!

Not sure about importing characters, but if you actually finish SoA, Tob kicks in straight away with exactly the same inventory for your party.

I think you have a couple of options at the beginning of ToB. I'm kind of sketchy on the details and I uninstalled ToB to play TDD, but if my memory serves me correctly, you can either import a saved character or import a saved game.

If you import the saved character, it is the equivalent of starting a "new" game, so the computer will start you off with you and a Bag of Holding full of stuff. All of the NPCs you select will be bumped to 2.5 million XP, if they are not already over that amount.

If you import the saved game, you will start with your characters from your BG2 Final Save game, with all of their stuff, spellbooks, etc. although I think you lose all of the bonuses you got at the end of SoA in Hell (like the immunity to non-magical weapons).
Jesus saves! And takes half damage!

If brute force doesn't work, you're not using enough.

If you save when there is one seal left and import this savegame, you keep the bonuses that you already have received.
Guinness is good for you.
Gives you strength.

Or you could just replay the final battle with Irenicus (it´s not that hard, the one in the Tree was worse. The battle would be much easier with ToB installed because you could possibly be over the XPcap and whack him with some High Level Abilities!), and then you get trasported to ToB with all bonuses from the Tears, the Seldarine Amulet and the extra XP from the battle (don´t remember if Jon actually gives any after killing him, but the demons sure do).
"No one expects the Brazilian Inquisitor!"
Abazigal: "Oh my god! They killed Yaga-Shura!"
Sendai: "You bastards!"
