Slow down again

I can't wait for 10 minutes to find the old topic so i am starting a new thread.
Hope you guys don't mind.

I have a 128 ISDN modem.
I have Windows Explorer version 6.
And i have windows 98.

Yet the site just seems to be getting slower and slower for me.
Like presently i have been posting this for around a minute and i don't have the post thread button yet.
On average i have to wait5 to 7 minutes before a thread opens up, and that taht two without any of the images.
As other UBB sites i visit work fine and are pretty darn fast.
Gamebanshee is the only problem.

Is this a problem on my side?
Do i need to configure my comp in anyway?
Any help would be appreciated.

Great now it is really fast.
3 secs - i timed to open up a 20 post thread.
Some one is playing a cruel joke on me!

Have you tried to clear temporary internetfiles?

I BTW still have had no problems in a very long time.

Did that yesterday, it slowed up even more.
But now it is working fine and fast.
It might be the local traffic, but i have no idea.
I cleared out the temp files - on line and off line - the cookies and history.
It works now.
But i will have to check in the evening to make sure.
