Hi everyone!
I was trying to do Jaheira's romance (rangers, druids... they should go quite well together, shouldn't they? ;-D) But I finished the game and nothing happened. I thougth that it was just because Jaheira doesn't do anything before getting married (X-D), but searching on the web I've found this forum. The problem was that Elminster did not turn up the second time and so she was always worried about the harpers. So I loaded the game just after killing Vermin (or whatever :-D) and I waited. It was the 63th day, I think. I have done nothing (I have already finished all the little quests and I have just to kill bodhi) for some days. Actually, for 107 days. After sleeping all this days inside or outside an inn and after Jaheira has told me at least two times something about the dawn (I suppose it is the last love dialog she has) Elmister has not yet appeared. What is it wrong with him? do I stink? Can someone tell me how does he come the second time? (just after sleeping, when you change from outdoors to the city or whatever). How many days does he need? more than four months? Have I forgot to do something? I have already bought her the collar (after visiting this site ;-).
Thanks for any help tha you could give me.
Well It was quite long. Sorry for that. Sorry also for any english faults, I'm spanish (game voices are much better in english! ;-)
Jaheira Romance & Elminster
It sounds like you're stuck in one of Jaheira's infamous romance dialog loops. Do you have ToB installed? If not, you can try downloading and installing Manveru's Updated Improved Jaheira Romance/Harper Plot from here. If you do have ToB, the latest official patch is supposed to have this fix.
There's nothing a little poison couldn't cure...
What happened here was the gradual habituation of the people, ... to receiving decisions deliberated in secret; to believing that the situation was so complicated that the government had to act on information which the people could not understand, or so dangerous that, even if he people could understand it, it could not be released because of national security.
