Portrait change

Ok I have a question, maybe not the most thrilling of all time but still I hope someone knows the answer.

Is there a way to change the portrait of your character in BG or BG2 without starting over?

ie. edit a file, use a program or something.

You should be able to change your portrait when you go to the character record screen and chose "customize". When you change the "appearance", you can also pick another portrait (even a custom portrait).

Yes, you can. Got to your character record, select cultomize, then select appearance and custom.
