Cant get into baldur's gate

Post by mardabas »

I've cleared the mines, I've hit the bandit camp, and Scar has given me a task but I cant get in. I know I must be missing something simple but I'm going crazy. Please HELP.

Have you cleared the Cloakwood forest as well?

If you have cleared the bandit camp - go back and speak to Officer Vai :)

If you have done this - and you are now able to cross the bridge, you need to explore the left of the map - by the wall at the other side of the bridge...there is an archway in the wall that is hidden by the fog.....

You need to clear Cloakwood.

Scar doesn't show up unless you've already cleared Cloakwood. ;) The entrance to Baldur's Gate proper is not very obvious - like Yshania says, go all the way across the bridge and move under the archway toward the upper left of the map.
There's nothing a little poison couldn't cure...

What happened here was the gradual habituation of the people, ... to receiving decisions deliberated in secret; to believing that the situation was so complicated that the government had to act on information which the people could not understand, or so dangerous that, even if he people could understand it, it could not be released because of national security.
