Meeting

Post by Craig »

If we all meet at like 1 week after the game is out, we can see who just joined as a passing phase, or make that a month.

I assume you are talking about our ever expanding numbers. That is a way to shake off the free loaders.

I think that is a bit silly, suppose that 40 of our members are still active, is not a bit suspicious that there is 40 of us in one area?

We could have the wings meet up and then the leaders take attendance :)

Also remember that the number in our guild - "out-of-argyle-game" does not affect the number in-game per se.
Many people will imo get annoyed/angry etc at the game because Argyle might be to hard a world and not even get to join an BoTB in-game cause they will leave the world. (I think mage-hate (tm) could be able to purge a lot of players)

Also remember that we will not only play in Argyle, some people will maybe just want to play modules casually with other members and/or test their own on members.

So for now - it is Argyles sever that sets the player limit, and Argyles harshness that sets the number of casulties and what lives - might be able to form BoTB in Argyle.

EDIT: Also remember you can't meet up ingame, unless there is an in-game reason for it. And checking to see idle "members" is not an in-game reason, cause BoTB doesn't exist yet in-game

Right on, Xandax.

Remember what he said, peeps. We can't just meet in Argyle unless there's a role-playing reason for it. And like Xan said, some of us might not want to play in Argyle. BotB might not even become a reality in Argyle. I sure hope it does, and I certainly hope I'm a part of it, but you never know.

Regardless, we can always adventure together through player-created modules and such, so try not to worry about all the mechanics yet. They'll work themselves out in time.

Will it also be possible for wandering adventurers to join BotB in-game, or not?

I guess not, but it is just a question :o

That is IMO something that need to be discussed when the guild is up and running in-game.
