Missing Key for VoS

Ach alltho a killer game im stuck in vale of shadows...
I read the walkthrough and found out im missing a key which
drops in Cave 1..the cave with undeads,a worm and a trap..
BUT.....im finding no key,i checked and looted the 2 hanging
skeletons in there but to no avail.
Am i missing a patch or just blind as a bat?

Hmm IIRC thje key is actually in the area on the walkthrough marked 2

The cave with the statue and the traps.
