+4 sword in druid grove!!!

Post by UserUnfriendly »

well, sorta. you see I got flame tongue, which is a +1 flaming sword in druid grove, and if you look its got some nice bonuses including +4 vs undead. I figure, ok, right, and tried it, jokingly, with lilacor standing by, on a lich. whacked it good. I figure, if even though its a +1 weapon, it behaves like +4, it should whack demi lich. yep it did damage!!!!

this makes this +1 piece of crap capable of taking on bodhi and even demi liches...

very underrated sword, got some killer perks.

works really good on werewolves too....good bonus vs shapeshifters....
They call me Darth...

Darth Gizka!

Muwahahahahhahahha!!!

I concur with Stilgar: in BGI, I equipped this sword as soon as I got it. But when I found it in BGII (I believe you can also buy one), I thought I already had some way better equipment and never bothered to keep/buy it... Guess I was wrong.

Ok, I went back to check it and found there was a mix-up... I thought it was the same as the sword of Flame, which can be bought and that's why I never bothered to keep it. Now, Flame Tongue, that's an entirely different story...

Life seems short considering how long you will be dead.

well, I had one of my rangers dual wield that and Namarra almost to the end of the game, until I had black razor and the equalizer.
Why? Good abilities, and daystar on the side.
PS, daystar and Flametongue REALLY hurt undead.
The waves came crashing in like blindness.
So I just stood and listened.
