Locked chest never opened in game

Post by CM »

In the govt distirct, there is a locked chest which is warded from simple spells and such.
It is in the Jyssetvs - or something estate - it where you talk to sir sales about the quest for the temple of Helm.
It is where you also talk to the Mrs. of the household to cure Jan's lovers daughter.
For the life of me I have never figured out how to get that thing open, has anybody?
For what is it to die but to stand naked in the wind and to melt into the sun? - Khalil Gibran

There's a chest in the outdoor area outside Speelhold (where you get teleported by Saemon if you choose his way out) that you can't even get to, i.e. it's in an area that your party can't reach, any1 know what's in this chest? :)

you can jump to the chest by using ctrl+j (with the DEBUG MODE 1 on) there's nothing, couple gold pieces, or maybe an almost worthless gem.

There's been a thread on the subject before if you want to check it, try search...

From having worked on the development of an online game, my experience is that if you see a chest which doesn't open or is out of reach, it's because of one of two things: either the developers planned it for something they couldn't finish on time, or it's deliberately provocative, and intended to make folks wonder. ;)
To the Righteous belong the fruits of violent victory. The rest of us will have to settle for warm friends, warm lovers, and a wink from a quietly supportive universe.
