To patch or not to patch?

i need expert's help here 
i'm currently in the middle of a SoA game, with ToB installed.
now, once i installed ToB i also installed the Baldurdash patch. after that, i installed the Grandmastery patch (no flaming, just for better role-playing - i'm not even playing a fighter, but a grandmaster is a GRANDmaster ), the Company of the Eight addon (any feedback??), the Deeper Shadows of Amn addon (again, any feedback??), and finally, Manveru's improved Jaheira romance.
now, my question is:
Should i install the official (Bioware's) patch?
is it OK to install it ontop of all this addons?
cuz i dont intend to remove'em, and CERTAINLY not to start over.
