My Bio.. (Some Questions)

I've finally sat down and wrote the bio for my character. I tried to write it according to the world of Argyle. I'm posting here first so that you people tell me your thoughts and if something is wrong.

Here it is:

Born in 1630YR this young Paladin was raised.by his family in a small house just outside Arberdan. He lived a peaceful live, but he was always tortured by some strange nightmares of which he did not know their origin. In his efforts to interpret these “dreams” he ventured a lot in the city and around the countryside learning much of the lands lore. His journeys in the world had some effects on him; he became much stronger than ordinary people and developed a unique scene of understanding and reacting accordingly to people. He always treated people with kindness and developed a scene of good but also his despised evil deeds.

At the age of 18 something happened that was meant to alter his life as he knew it. Some venturing Orcs attacked his house. He was not home at the time but he managed to get in time and help his father in drawing off the Orcs. But this was not good enough. One of the Orcs managed a deadly wound on his beloved mother. For some months he was unable to focus and became wreckage but also the nightmares became more incensed and painful as if forcing him to find something or do something. By the efforts of his father he was eventually brought back to his senses.

Eventually his set off to join the ranks of the local Paladin Order in a effort to avenge the death of his mother but also to finally learn the cause of his nightmares. He indeed joined the Order after a while and he seemed to like his new role even though it was yet too early for him to form an opinion. From the day his joined the Order and started his training he noticed that his nightmares were reduced showing that he was in the right track but they did not stop. At least he became somewhat aware of the cause of his dreams, his explanation was that he owed to help people and protect the just and good and sitting idle cause the nightmare to increase. He spent the last few months under the guidance and support of the Order practising and training in the ways of fighting, paying also a visit to his father every once it a while to check up on him. He also noticed that his father was strangely happy to see him follow the path he chose despite the death of his mother.

One day a Paladin of the Order came to speak to him. He stated that he was an old friend of his father and that he wanted to speak to him in private. The Paladin informed him about a strange old-time academy named “Brotherhood of the Banshee” He somehow knew that he had to learn more about it and it might have something to do with his own problems with the nightmares, so he decided to track them down. Before setting off to find more he paid one more visit to his father, but all his efforts to learn something from him ended up in vein. All he managed to get from him was some things that he did not understand. His father only said to him that it is best for him to find it out on his own and ended will a strange phrase: “You will learn …”

Knowing almost nothing of the things to follow he began his pursue for the so called “Banshee”. A new hope rouse in his mind and heart and the excitement was overwhelming. Will this be the path that according to his dreams should have taken? Will this help him to heal the sorrow that eats him from inside after the death of his mother? Will it help him to finally find peace with himself and get rid of his nightmares? Only time will tell …


Sorry for the errors, i just what get it right before i update it to the final version. . So my questions are:

(1) Do you have to write the bio stricky for Argyle world or just not to mention things that don't go along with the world?
(2) Mentioning the guild in the bio would affect the fact that we what to keep it on a secret level for now?
(3) I have assumed that there is a Paladin Order in Arberdan but i didn't find anything to name it after. Is there something that i should know of?
(4) What do i do after i finish it?

If i PM my Bio to one these guys they shouldn't be aware of the guild? since i've mentioned it in my bio?

2 point regarding your bio.

1) there is not guild: Blade of The Banshee yet, thus you can't hear about it. You can howevery find something out about the "original Banshees" (Belive Saigo has called them Brotherhood of the Banshee and Acadamy of the Banshee)

2) How do you become a respected member of a Paladin order if you are a level 1 paladin?

And as Tamerlane said - try chatting to Pranker or Rhino and get some of their input.

True . I just thought that since he is a Paladin he should have started from somewhere. I think i'll skip the "respected member" thing.

The DMs at Argyle already know about our efforts to establish the Blades of the Banshee. Rhino has praised Saigo on his writing of our history, and I know they have already seen a few of our bios, which mention the Blades of the Banshee.

As Tamerlane and Xandax said, seek Rhino's or Pranker's input. It might take a while to get back to you, but they will be honest and give you good advice on how to approach your bio.
