I was wondering if anyone knows some of the area codes for BG2 or ToB.

Also, in the original Baldur's Gate, there was a cheat that allowed the party to move anywhere on the map where the cursor was pointing to

Cheats:Hans()

Is there something like that in BG2?

Check the All the CLUA commands thread for area codes.

CRTL+J will teleport your party to your cursor location.

What happened here was the gradual habituation of the people, ... to receiving decisions deliberated in secret; to believing that the situation was so complicated that the government had to act on information which the people could not understand, or so dangerous that, even if he people could understand it, it could not be released because of national security.
