I'm thinking of making a Kenasai. This class is obviously ment to be a master of swords, but can i chose for example mace or flail instead? Do get the kensai-bonuses for whatever weapon i chose?

Yeah I'm pretty sure you do. I'm a level 16 Kensai and I dual-wield two axes on max proficiency. I seem to be getting the bonuses - I can at least use Kai ability. I'd have to experiment a little to be absolutely certain about the rest.
