fighters stronghold quest triggers (spoilers)

Post by HighLordDave »

Does anyone know what the fighter stronghold triggers are?

I am playing a dual-classed fighter/mage, but I save the D'Arnise Keep quests until chapter 6. I got the planer sphere stronghold and then went to Spellhold. When I got back from the Underdark, I did a bunch of the quests from Chapter 2 (ie-the tanner's quest, Windspear Hills quests, plus some TDD areas).

One of the quests I went back for was the D'Arnise Keep and after clearing out the keep, Nalia offered it to me (there must be a bug in the dialogue tree that doesn't check for a previous stronghold). I took it and have gotten some of the fighter stronghold quests (the wandering cleric, the guard stealing to buy medicine for his wife), but I haven't been able to trigger any of the other quests.

Isea Roenall hasn't come by to kidnap Nalia (I left her at the Keep for a little while, then came back for her), and Lord Roenall hasn't come by to threaten to take the keep away from me.

Is there a way through CLUAConsole or Shadowkeeper to trigger the quests to start?

If anyone has finished TDD, can I kill Irenicus then come back to some of the other quests.?

Thanks in advance.

The following is for SoA with or without ToB, I have no idea what changes TDD makes:

Due to programming oversight, Nalia's dialog tree doesn't make the proper checks for another stronghold under certain circumstances. IIRC, this was only partially fixed in ToB.

Nalia's kidnap plot will only occur if she was in your party, when she spoke to you outside the keep after defeating Torgal.

The Stronghold quests are on a timer and will not occur in Chapters 4, 5, or 7.
There's nothing a little poison couldn't cure...

What happened here was the gradual habituation of the people, ... to receiving decisions deliberated in secret; to believing that the situation was so complicated that the government had to act on information which the people could not understand, or so dangerous that, even if he people could understand it, it could not be released because of national security.

The Stronghold quests are on a gametime timer, it triggers every 7 days or so. Every time you get the message saying that money have been placed in your keep, go back there and talk to either the Captain of the Guards (in the Keep's courtyard) or the guy that is helping you run the Keep (in the main room on the ground floor of the Keep)
