the mighty beast Kasgaroth(sp?)

everyone who's played BG1 propably knows the two items-- the horn of Kasgaroth/claw of Kasgaroth, and know to my question... is there any information anywhere about the mighty beast, about the battle or it's stats like in a AD&D monster book??? it'd be fun to know more about it, thanks in advance

I imagine that you could find some info in an older edition Monsters Compendium. I dont ever remember seeing him in a book while I was playing pnp and only read about him in Streams of Silver .

Actually, I just realized that the book was called DarkWalker. It was the first FR I ever read.
