exp cap remover and expansion pack

question: if i used the exp cap remover and my characters are higher level than they should be with the current cap, when i import them to the expansion pack will their levels/abilities get messed up?

From Bioware it would not mess your charactor up however you charactor will be higher than expected hence taking away some of the gaming value

There's an off-chance that if your characters are already above the experience cap, they may not gain extra spells/abilities intended for the official expansion. I mean, if a priest's supposed to gain Spell X when they reach level 38, assuming your priest is already at level 42, they might not get that spell since the trigger's gone off before the new code. This is just a guess on my part, of course.
