can't get to cult?

newbie question:
i'm in the sewers but the entrace to the Cult of the Unseeing Eye is blocked, what have I done wrong?

You probably haven't gotten the quest from the Priest of Helm (or priest of other church, depending on alignement) yet. Could that be it? If so, enter the temple and speak to him. I guess you also haven't run into Keldorn, right?

no, i went to the church and talked to him, i also picked up Keldorn

I think you are knocking on the wrong door - maybe!

There's one door (secret pink glowing when you pass it) which leads to the Mindflayer section that can only be opened by a sewer key you will find during your Winspear expedition - I think .. others on forum can confirm.

The Unseeing eye door is actually a stairway type thing that says - to the Older Sewer on the map and is marked. If you have found Keldorn you should be able to enter this zone. Just keep walking along that radial corridor where you found Keldorn.

i've been to Mekreths room and liberated Har Dalis, i also went to the Mind Flayers lair and stole the wand of Wonder in the last room because i was tired of trying to kill them, when i go to the entrance to the cult i get a ? and a message that it's not passable.

This is very strange. You do stand at the correct entrance (north from where you met Keldorn)? And you do position your mouse cursor right at the entrance?

i'm at the location shown on the game banshee maps, but i don't see a entrance, it just looks dark, and gives me a question mark when i put the curser where the entrance should be.
