Multiplayer question

I am planning to run a multiplayer game sson and I have this question.
Must all the players have the same add ons or is it just the host?
For example I have Tashia installed.Will she appear on the game only if all the players have the Tashia mod?Or if I have it everyone will since I'll be the host?

Yes, all players must have the same mods and patches, as well as use the same framerate.

The only thing this rule doesn't necesarily apply to is custom portraits, one can have them working on their own machine but they will not be shown on anyone elses, the game will still run as standard on other computers using the default character portrait instead of your own custom portrait.

If you use a custom portrait, send both the large and the small pics to whoever you are gaming with and have them copy both into their portraits file

otherwise - all they will see is the square with a question mark in it.

I think this is an interesting question...
Some time back I was playing with sombody who had the multiromance patch installed, while I did not. The game worked fine, but I had Jaheira hitting on my female pc
