V1.0.3 of the Kelsey sorcerer NPC mod has been released, in a patch form from 1.0.2 as well as a full download for new players.
ALSO NOTE: As of V1.0.3 we offer a "light" version. It contains all of the text content but has a drastically reduced (and lower-fidelity) soundset. This 3 MB download should be friendlier to pay-per-minute modemers, even if I think it's less fun.
As always, download sites available at:
http://www.forgottenwars.net/kelsey
(mirrors for 1.0.3 should be coming online soon, if 3DD is busy please be patient with us.)
V1.0.3:
- Added Kelsey Flirt Pack (not part of the 1.0.2->1.0.3 PATCH but can still be downloaded and installed separately
- Added experimental String Fixer
- Kelsey can now be properly "kicked out" to Waukeen's Promenade (previously, he was going to invalid coordinates and would disappear from the map.)
- Corrected a looping Kelsey/Edwin dialogue problem.
- Kelsey now ends the romance if you side with Bodhi.
- Kelsey will no longer necessarily end the romance if the PC accepts the Thief Stronghold

If you have Virtual PC, you can use it to install the Kelsey and Solaufein MODs and play them under Mac BG2-SOA (not Tashia, though, since it requires TOB.) You don't need BG2 for Windows, you just need to load Windows, run the patch installer in Windows, point it at the Mac dir where BG2 is installed, and let it fly.
We have tried, but so far have not been successful, in convincing a Mac programmer to do a proper port of WeiDU, which would be necessary to make this work "properly."
