I'm with you on this one, Vas...

I usually just have to leave the ones I don't want and know I can't sell (at least, without carpel tunnel syndrome) in a big pile either inside or outside the dungeon I find them in. The enemies (and their loot) respawn, so I tend to get overloaded real quick.

I downloaded the "Rich_NPC" mod and it gives most of the merchants something like x10 drakes and it's STILL not enough to sell more than a Daedric Club (10k) if you have developed your Merchantile skill at all. However, I can unload all the Dwarven and Ebony weapons I find off the mobs, so it's not a total bust :)

I found the mod here:

Barter

I like to sell my weapons to enchanters. I save up a lot of money (this is key), buy a great enchantment, then sell my weapons to the enchanter who NOW has 40K+ gold. I barter my weapons for great enchantments, it's fair. The hardest part is getting all that gold, as most shop keepers don't have that much (thus, the start of your post). I literally went to every shop keeper I saw and bought him out with jewels or whatever to gain 250 or 500 gold per keeper. Now I have over 59K, can by good enchantments, and HAVE to pick up all those weapons to support my "enchanting" habit.

Pick up the 'Zed' plug-in from http://www.morrowindsummit.net (think thats the site) It creates a merchant in Balmora named Zed, and he has something like 100K-1 mil drakes on him.
