i am on the level with the chromatic demon, i have cleared out the air, slime and ice bits.
i have tried to kill the fir giant in the fire bit but he won't die, nothing will kill him.
i lured him out of the fire and shut the doors so he couldn't get back in but he kept on regaining health.
i ctrl + y-ed him about 15 times but he wouldn't die..went from near death to uninjured straight away.
last time i did this bit it worked fine...any help will be much appreciated

Use a character with Boots of Speed to do this. Enter the room, and trigger off the Fire Elemental's entrance. Lure the giant and elemental to the Ice room. The giant will not go past the fire room, so only the elemental will be frozen. Repeat this 3 more times. Then the fire giant is killable. BTW, this info can be found on a note in the same level...
You know, this reminds me of that time... waay back...
Yeah for some reason I actually had 5 fire demons to lure into the ice room - all I did was position my party out of the way so as to not distract the fire demon, then walk up to the fire room and go "nah nah nah you can't catch me" and when they start following you, run down to the ice room (make sure they are behind you) and when they enter the room they will freeze and die - keep checking the fire room to make sure none are re spawning, if they are, the fire giant is un killable.
After they are dead he is a joke
