(SPOILER) i need help here!
Like the name implies, im starting to get frustrated at a part where i've gotten myself stuck. I want to get down to the lower regions of the cult of the unseeing eye for the second part of the shaft. the problem is, i already killed the unseeing eye... (he pops up if u attack his followers) anyways, since i killed everyone, theres a 'hidden' door that is locked, and i dont know how to get it open. Please, forgive me for this, but i tried resorting to cheating, using the 'move to area' cheat.... but it wont work!! i put 'Debug Mode=1' into the baldur file like it says... but i cant get the text box to open (the only way i know how is to press 'crtl+space', and all that does is pause the game)
now, heres the other annoying part... IF i can get the cheat text box to come up, im not even sure if i can transport to the lower regions, i couldnt find its 'code'... but the cults code is 'ar0204' and the rift's code is 'ar0202' so im willing to bet the lower region code is ar0203
now that u know my horrible bind, you can either
a) tell me theres an easy way to open the hidden door that i missed
b) tell me how to open the cheat text bar
any help would be GREATLY appreciated!!! thanks

You are not supposed to enter by the hidden door between the crypt and the entrance to the "deceased" city (I presume this is the one you're talking about) - that one is actually an exit from the lower levels. Instead you should use the entrance the western part of the cult's quarters. Since you've more or less screwed the quest up I'm not sure you'll be able to, though. Should that be the case I recommend you to reload and start over. This time, don't be so fast with killing everybody.

Make sure you put the following line under [Program Options] in your baldur.ini file:
Debug Mode=1
Make sure it's exactly as above, with no spaces around the '='. When you start the game, it sometimes helps to press the CRTL key first, then press SPACE while holding the CRTL key down. You can get the door open by cheating a key in:
CLUAConsole:CreateItem("key02")
Edit: If you're talking about the secret door, that can only be opened by crossing a trigger line on the other side.
However, getting to the 2nd part of the rift device is not as simple as that - the best way to do it would be to re-load a save from before you killed the cultists, and start over.

There's nothing a little poison couldn't cure...
What happened here was the gradual habituation of the people, ... to receiving decisions deliberated in secret; to believing that the situation was so complicated that the government had to act on information which the people could not understand, or so dangerous that, even if he people could understand it, it could not be released because of national security.

Yes, that is exactly what i have done... but the cheat text box still does not come up... its probably just my keyboard or something, thanks anyways
i already have one part of the rift device, from inside the temple where those warshippers are being forever tortured... buuuuut i guess getting all the way there was pointless... and going back isnt an option, i dont have any saves earlier than my 'unseeing eye cult slaughter' *sigh* im hoping there is no huge party exp bonus for completing that quest because it looks like theres no way for me to do it. you still have my thanks for trying

You'll miss out on some nice loot, Gauntlets of Dex, Dragon's Bane and Saving Grace probably being the most valuable. Why not edit them in with ShadowKeeper?

I think you've had a revelation on career paths! Go and seek your fortunes from ShadowKeeper
Followup: yup, i think that's dont it, the rift device is back together and the avatar used it. But it was a little anti-climactic, all he did was end with the words 'rest....rest' and then everyone disappeared... nothing left but inform the order of the helm i guess

Blueguy .. Are you playing for the first time?
If you don't mind I can give you some advice .. since not so long ago I was learning thru some deep mistakes .. like only quick saving games. It got me all screwed and had me repalying whole sections .. now I always save at all major new areas and quest points .. and try out diff options without having to replay everything.
I made the same mistake in Eyeless Cult hunt .. I was so freaked out by those zombie followers and greedy of the loot in their rooms .. I decided to kill them all .. one by one .. thinking since they are blind I could wipe them out and then get the Main Bum!! Whooey did that looming Beholder appear suddenly and screwed everything up.
So I went back to my saved game and played the long way
- get the wand to kill the Beholder
- free the slaves
I tell you I was richer for those great items I got and the incredible XPs .. and It was surely very enjoyable having legitimately won a victory over Cult.
Try playing according to the story line and the returns are richer .. rather than shortcuts.
Personally cheats are no fun for me .. But some people love paying that way .. I guess that is fun when you are an advanced player and are trying out newer ways to play.
So SAVE SAVE AND SAVE ... At times I have had 25 saves for a single quest / area

ok, 5am... i think i should go hehe bye!
