Anyone know if this is too good to be true?

Well...i was buyin stuff with my new guy and i purchased a spear which cast bound spear when used. I dropped it curious what would happen when it ran out...well...the spell wore out but the spear didnt dissapear, i equipped it and rested for 19 hours...still there! will this disappear or is this a MAJOR flaw in the bound equipment system?...
My computer has wheels, so it can run over the other, inferior computers!

Flaw. All bound items exhibit this behaviour. They shouldn't, but they do.
