Yoshimo and his demise

Post by SubTerran »

just wondering, since Yoshimo will die eventually, right now I have him in my party, I want to know when does he die, is it just time triggered or a quest, cuz I don't want to waste too much exp on him since he dies anyways.

He will meet his demise in Spellhold. If you are woried about wasting XPs on him, then ditch him immediately. If not, then you might want to stick it out and see what happens there. You can always replace him with Imoen, since you pick her up at the same time. Convenient.

so does he die in spell hold before you get Imoen? cuz I heard you will need to do something with his black heart, but last time I played the game(different party and character) after spell hold I got back to the city, went to CC and just seen Yoshimo die there and I found not black heart on him.

He dosen´t die first, but he leaves your party before you get Imoen.
I killed him in the spellhold later, and took his black heart.

I did the same thing as you, Sub, and don't know about his black heart, but I've heard mention of it. Is there someone else out there who can fill us in? What is the heart for?

And, you get Imoen back right after you lose Yoshimo.

You have certainly earned the trust of an assassin, for whatever that's worth.

Experience is always re-attainable, if that's the word. Besides, you will pick up Imoen (won't you), so you have to drop sombody. Why not that dirty Yoshimo.

You take his heart to a temple (Oghma ?) when you get back to the city. You get some XP. and I think your rep goes up 1.

hmm..looks like that punk is too much trouble, my party is already made up of very screwed up people, Keldron who's wife been cheating on him for the last 2 years, Cerd who's wife not only cheated on him but died and left a kid befind, Yoshimo who will die, and Jahira who is only sticking around for the romance part

See, there you go. You have to lose someone. Why not make it Yoshimo so you get a rep point and some XPs out of it.

Yes it would seem to be as you say a very screwed up group. Image

OH yes I forgot Heir'Dalis(not sure how to spel his name) who is just plain insane. BTW if anyone played Planescape Torment, it looks like he is from that universe cuz he talked about Lady of Pain being after his group from a different plane, and Lady of Pain was a serious #*&!% in PLanescape Torment

Sure, it is clearly mentioned in the game that H'D and the whole actor group come from Sigil.
