quick question

I'm playing through again as a female character this time. I'm wondering if it is still possible to do the harper quests with Jaheira even if I am not romancing her? (as in, will I still be able to get the harper pin and all the nice xp) I've already killed Gavalery, I'm wondering though if it will still continue?
