Well, I managed to get XP from both of the dragons now. I have no idea why I didn't before. The Shadow Dragon was ridiculously easy. My party consisted of my Archer with Arrows of Peircing fired from the Heartseeker +3, Minsc wielding Lilarcor, Jaheira using Sunstone Bullets from some sling +2 or another, Yoshimo firing Phantom Arrows from whatever the heck that bow is that doesn't need ammo (NOT Gesen), plus his snares, and Aeire using Melf's Minute Meteors. No 6th member. I also summoned Cerebus the Moon Dog from the Figurine of Wondrous Power. After the dragon died, Cerebus was "Barely Injured", and Minsc had lost 18 HP. That's it. Ridiculous.

Glad to see you've finally been rewarded for your efforts.

Still keeps happening to me though from time to time :confused:
The Shadow Dragon was ridiculously easy


There's always the improved SoA dragons available as part of the Sola mod for when you're truly jaded.
