Reviving dead vampire lovers

My darling Anomen got bit by you-know-who and I can't seem to work out where I need to be going to bring him back to life. I've spoken to the Priest of Oghma already.

I think I need to go the Umar Hills but I can't travel there. It is, like several other places (the Windspeare Hills, the Keep) not available for me to travel to on the world map.

Have I done something wrong? Can someone help me please?

If it's not on the world map, then go to the Government District and go to the centre of the map. There should be a boy there that will give you the quest that will put it on the map for you. Then go to the City Gates and you will be able to go there.

If it is there on the map, but you can't travel there. Try going through the City Gates, that usually fix the problem.

I had the same issue, and I just had to go to Dellin-what-his-face and it appeared on the map for me.
