I'm still around. It was busy, earlier. I suspect you're just going to have to get used to an evening out of interest in the two new games.
To the Righteous belong the fruits of violent victory. The rest of us will have to settle for warm friends, warm lovers, and a wink from a quietly supportive universe.
I'm still here... although I admit, once fedex drops off my copy of Neverwinter Nights tommorrow, that's where most of my game time for awhile will be.
Morrowind's great, but I've done pretty much everything there is to do. As Bethesda and others release more ambitious mods, though, I expect to come back to it. The future of Morrowind really is in wether or not it's modding community gets on the ball (while there are now a couple of hundred mods around, most are crap... and even the good ones make relatively small changes for the most part) and starts producing mods that really take advantage of the expandibility Morrowind offers.
I've been amazed that a lot of what seem to be obvious mods haven't been made yet... one for the blades, allowing you to play that faction even after Cauis Cosades is recalled, seemed to be a no-brainer to me, for example, but no one has tackled it yet.

I still have 10 or so days before i get my hands on NWN so i'll be around here . I've started a new game again with a female character and if i ever figure out how to connect static objects in the TES constuction set i'll be able to finish my own resident.

I'm not getting NWN for a while Morrowind still has a lot I have not done yet not to mention the editor.
My 14 year old daughter plays it as well.
in fact I am building the clean your room pluging for her.
a small adventure where she will get from the mages guild in balmora about some sloppy mage inventing permanent summoning but not cleaning his room after the project was finished.
she will have to find the lab
clear all monsters & rats
pick up all the cloths lying around and straighten it up
then bring back the project notes.
(the project notes will be a note from me telling her to really clean her room )
I will plug it in with out her knowing so she will not suspect until
she reads the note.

I started MW on 31-5-02 @ 1700 so I'm a recent addition to the board.
Three weeks of pretty non-stop playtime and I haven't even started in on the main game quest. Just been wandering around buffing up my guy, working my way up in the Mage's Guild - determined to advance to Warlock before reporting back for Blades duty. Need 2 lousy Enchant pts. and, man, are they coming slow - took me 3 days to get the last 1/2 pt!
This game is really amazing; I can see I'll be at it for weeks to come. And, yeah, I guess I'm excited about the imminent arrival of NWN but I'm actually more looking forward to IWD2.

... and when I look at you I think, if I were a psychopath and we were standing on an extremely high cliff above a pounding surf that would drown out your scream ... well ... you know ...

I'm still here for at least the week until NWN comes through the door in this country...
Then, depending on exactly how good NWN is, I'll probably time-share between the two games.
