um.....I don't thnk any of this is spoilerish, but if you have not finished SoA you might want to move along.
I kill the final guy, go through the end sequence, and then TOB starts up. It splits my party - Imoen is in the garden of statues (beginning of ToB) and my character is back in the elven city! WTF?!
3 times in a row this has happened and it's on my dang nerves. This is the first time I've run a game al the way through SoA intending to go through to ToB, and I'm kinda invested in it.
Any ideas? Is this a known bug? do I just need to save right before the end fight and import that game? Help!

I suppose installing the patch was "the wiser choice"....
When it happened to me, I just played along instead
Have Imoen (or anyone in the garden of statues) click on the statues, the statues will say some lines.
When they are finished with their prophecies, your main character (wherever he happens to be) will be attacked.
Win that fight, and the game will proceed correctly (at least, for me it worked so).
Where we came from, we don't know
Where we're going.... (even worse)
And about who we could be, we actually have trouble in clearly defining the term "to be" in the first place...
