pickpocket help

i am new at the game and i was wondering how to pick a person's pocket. is it the same as the sneck command?(Ctrl)
what is the actual key button cause i cannot find that command in the controls manual.
Pls help

You have to sneak up to an npc and (still sneaking) "aktivate" him. If he didn't notice you till then you can steal from him.

Pickpocketing is not as easy as you think. At low levels, you will get caught most of the time. Just trying to pickpocket someone gives them a chance to notice the attempt.

There are lots of posts here on how to increase your chance of successfully pickpocketing, or you could check some of the online guides for tips.

How to boost sneak

Sneak is the easyest Skill to rise. I got into a shop with a moving shopkeeper. There i searched a place where i could hide, if he was far away, but not if he was near. Then i put something on my sneak-key and wend to bed. Next day the skill war at 100.

I don't think it could be easyer. And with 100 it is not that hard to pickpocket, especialy if the victim didn't notice you befor.

Even easier to rise (in the patch anyways) is Athletics - just find a corner, have Caps Lock on and press Q - you don't even need to have a heavy object on your keyboard
